Obituary for Sandra Mae Shurr Sandra Mae Shurr, 60, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in Fairlane Gardens. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of C. Neil Shurr, Exeter Township and the late Nancy R. (Grater) Buck. Sandy graduated from Exeter High School in 1978 and was a member of NorthStar United Methodist Church. Sandy worked for Threshold Services for a number of years and loved ice cream, McDonald’s, word search puzzles and her family and friends. In addition to her father, Sandy is survived by sisters Rev. Wendy S. wife of Robert J. Orzolek, Beth A. Shurr, partner of Robert G. Porch, both of Exeter Township and brother, Charles N. Shurr, Jr., husband of Mary, Kutztown, and nephews Justin Shurr, Trevor Shurr, and Samuel Orzolek. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm with services beginning at 1:30 pm in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading. Interment will be private at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring at the convenience of the family.
