Mrs. Sandra Kay Walker, age 65, of Arab, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Walker was born on July 29, 1953 to Cecil LaDon Kelley & Pauline Thrower Kelley in Marshall County. Sandra enjoyed attending craft shows, woodworking and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She participated in many ministry programs within her church including volunteering in the nursery, women’s Aglow program & the church library. Sandra was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church. Mrs. Walker survived by her husband of 36 years, Kerry Glenn Walker; mother, Pauline Thrower Kelley; sons & daughter-in-law, Tray NeSmith & Linnie, Clark Walker; grandchildren, Jordan NeSmith, Christian NeSmith, Emma Bearden, Cannon Walker, Bennett NeSmith, Karson NeSmith; brothers & sisters-in-law, Ronald Kelley & Sarah, Don Kelley & Rhonda. Preceded in death by her father, Cecil Kelley. Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday February 2, 2019 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Clint Maze & Bro. Kerrik Whisenant, officiating. Burial will be in New Canaan Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing. Pallbearers will be Keith Kelley, Ethan Kelley, Jake Kelley, Christian NeSmith, Brandon Walker & Kerrick Whisenant. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
