Sandra Jo (Seward) Stanton, 77, of Oak Harbor, passed peacefully to Heaven on January 3, 2019 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. A DeVilbiss High graduate, Sandra attended Webber College in Babson Park, Florida. There she earned degrees in Fashion and Interior Design. Sandra married the love of her life, Bruce Stanton , in 1968 and welcomed her son Kirk in 1972. They preceded her in death. Sandra spent 20 years with Toledo Public Schools as a Multi-Handicapped Paraprofessional retiring… Read More » in 2005. A loving and supporting wife, mother, daughter ,sister and aunt; she was blessed in her later years to be surrounded by a loving, attentive and growing family. She leaves behind sisters, Sheila Seward and Sally (Gary) Kranz; nephews, Mark (Rhonda) Spitler , Adam Spitler and Phillip (Tammy) Jacob; nieces, Britt (Tim) Rathbun, Brittany (Ryan) Gillan, Jennifer (Dave) Wozniak and Heather Kranz; and numerous grand nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by parents, Harryette and William Seward; sister, Susan and her husband, Tom Spitler, and nephew, Matthew. Private graveside service for the family is planned later at her request. A special thank you to the ProMedica Hospice of Clyde, Ohio. Nurses Debbie and Kristan. The Oak Harbor and Mid-County EMS squads, Dr. J. A. McLean, and the Ebeid Hospice staff. Lost to us for only awhile We are destined to see again her lovely smile
