Sandra had a love for travel and Elvis, which was only surpassed by her love for her family and friends. She retired after 30 years of service from A.C.C.U., where she formed many lifelong friendships. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Evelyn Garner, her sister, Carla Bush and great granddaughter, Peyton Shaw. Sandra is survived by her sister, Dorothy (Joe) Alessi: her children, Wayne (Joanna) Nix, Sherry (Ricky) Duncan; her brother, Walter (Carla) Bush; her grandchildren, Robert Edwards, Robbie Nix, Stephanie (Steven) Denny, Lauren (Brett) Shaw, Jessica Richardson, Joey Richardson, Michael Richardson; multiple great grandchildren; her nieces, Lois Ann (Jimmy) LaBoyd, Jessica (Brock) Parker; her nephews, Jody Alessi, Chris (Tammy) Alessi, Randy Bush and numerous great nieces and nephews. Chapel service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Highland Memorial Gardens. Bro. Gary Tankersley will be officiating.
