OBITUARY Sadie McCall “Grandma” McQuage October 4, 1926 – January 14, 2019 Sadie McCall McQuage “Grandma”, age 92, peacefully entered Heaven to be with her precious Lord and Savior, Monday, January 14, 2019, at home surrounded by her adoring family. She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, on October 4, 1926, to the late Luther McCall and Pearl McCall. Sadie worked for Duke Power most of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and the best grandma and great grandma anyone could ever ask for. She never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew her. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and looked forward to spending every moment she could with her family. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Tom McCall, Luke McCall and John McCall, late husband, Jim McQuage and her only son, Steve McQuage. She is survived by one grandson, John McQuage; two granddaughters, Melissa Deese and husband, Darrin and Kimberly Ritchie and husband, Joshua; and three great grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew and Emily, whom she loved with all of her heart. A private graveside service with be held at Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte, North Carolina, with Reverend Darrin Deese officiating.
