Ruby’s Obituary GREGORY, RUBY LEE ELLIS, age 85, a resident of Wood Village, formerly of Mt. Vernon, widow of Sam Gregory, passed away 4:30 a.m. Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Wood Village. Member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Lowell Miller; Son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Linda Gregory; Grandchildren and spouses, Doug and Kim Miller, Adam and Kristi Gregory, Charla and Chris Hutchison; Great-grandchildren, Addison and Cole Haggart, Will and Maggie Miller, Chance Arden, Drew, Brady and Sarah Hutchison; Brother, Marlin Ellis; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Ben D. and Nettie McConkey Ellis; Sisters, Rose Ellis Lee, Cecil Ellis Stephens, Ocie Ellis Moses, Lucille Ellis Atkins; Brothers, Starlon, Carl, Lealon, Earl and Arvil (Harvey) Ellis.
