Ruby’s Obituary Ruby Hatfield, age 84, entered heaven’s gates on Monday, January 28, 2019, at her residence in Benham, KY. She was born to David Grant and Nancy Ann Jackson Fields in Lynch on June 03, 1934. She was a kind and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who chose to spend her life as a homemaker for her family. Ruby attended the Little Cowan Primitive Baptist Church until her sickness confined her to her home. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Hatfield; parents, David and Nancy Fields; brothers, Franklin and Paul Fields; sister, Myrtle Hogg; and grandchildren, Stacey Pennington and Konte Gavin Hatfield. She leaves her children, Belinda (Virgil) Brackett of Totz, Katherine Gayno Smith of Lancaster, Sharon Diane (Dennis) Pennington of Georgetown, Thomas Jack Hatfield of Kingston, TN, John Mark (Ginger) Hatfield of New Tazewell, TN, and Jeffery Allan Hatfield of Benham; brother, Woodrow (Barbara) Fields of Benham; sister, Lily North of Valparaiso, IN; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 01, 2019, between 5 – 8 pm in the Chapel of Tri City Funeral Home, 506 Holly Street, Benham, KY. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 02, 2019, at noon in the Chapel with Pastor Rod Raleigh of Blair Chapel officiating.
