Ronald’s Obituary Mr. Ronald Van Johnson, age 57, of Thomaston Ga, died Sunday, January 13, 2019, at his residence. Mr. Johnson was born March 25, 1961 in Key West FL, to James Corbett Johnson Jr. and the late Dorothy J. Miller. He was a member of Clark’s Chapel Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughters, Sherry Lamb and Laura Quezada both of Columbus GA; father, James Corbett Johnson of South Carolina; sisters, Shannon (Timothy) Branham of Windsboro SC, and Amy Ray (Tonya) Johnson of Rock Hill SC; brothers, Billy Martiny of Thomaston, Preston Johnson of Forsyth, and James Randy Johnson of South Carolina; sister-in-law, Susan Martiny of Thomaston; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several special nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers, James Martiny, Frank Maritny Jr, and Bobby Ray Johnson. Memorial services for Mr. Johnson will be held on Friday, January 18. 2019, at 1:00 PM at Clark’s Chapel Baptist Church in Thomaston. Read More
