Ronald Lee McDaniels, age 75, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Mr. McDaniels was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on April 20, 1943 to the late Ira McDaniels and Eleanora (Householder) Aker. He married Barbara Jo Woods on December 10, 1966 in Fort Wayne and worked in roofing construction. Survivors include: Wife, Barbara McDaniels of Fort Wayne. Daughter, Ronda and Robert Crousore of Fort Wayne. Son, Ronald, Jr. and Erin McDaniels of Fort Wayne. Son, Brian McDaniels of Fort Wayne. Six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Brother, Victor McDaniels of Fort Wayne. Sister, Cinda Woods of Fort Wayne. Brother, Danny Aker of Monroeville. Sister, Sherry VanOsdale of Monroeville. Sister, Melody “Dee Dee” Konger of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy McDaniels in 2011 and two brothers, Jerry McDaniels and Melvin Aker. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 4, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Three Rivers Baptist Church, 1406 Lumbard Street Fort Wayne. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00PM prior to the service. Arrangements entrusted to Northern Indiana Funeral Care.
