Obituary for Roger Sylvester Darty Roger S. Darty, 54, of Wauchula, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. Roger was born in Bartow, FL on September 2, 1964 and had been a Hardee County resident most of his life. He was Pentecostal by faith and was employed as a pipe fitter in construction, prior to his disability. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Darty. Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Darty of Wauchula; mother, Irma Darty of Wauchula; five sons, Roger Nathaniel Darty (wife Leeann) of Wauchula, Timothy Darty of Bowling Green, Dustin Darty (wife Naomi) of Bowling Green, Jarod Darty of Wauchula, and Justin Middleton (wife Kat) of Tennessee; three daughters, Beth Ann Darty (husband James) of Fort Green, Brittany Porter (husband Joey) of Lakeland, and Stormi Darty of Wauchula; three brothers, Dwayne Darty (wife Debbie) of North Carolina, Daniel Darty (wife Juanita) of Lithia, and Timothy Darty of Wauchula; one sister,Sandra Darty of Wauchula; and 17 grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel from 2-3 PM on Monday, January 14, 2019. Funeral services follow at 3 PM. Pastor Len Ward of River of Life Church in Lakeland will officiate.
