Phyllis Ann Nussmeyer is at peace following complications with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), a rare blood cancer in the leukemia family. A 1961 graduate of Rex Mundi High School, Phyllis attended and graduated from the Deaconess School of Nursing in 1972. She dedicated more than 50 years of her life as caregiver and registered nurse.
