OBITUARY Peter M Walsh February 9, 1944 – January 31, 2019 Peter M. Walsh, 74, a longtime Yonkers resident, died on Thursday January 31, 2019 at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville. He was born on February 9, 1944 to Peter F. and Catherine Keegan Walsh in Yonkers where he was raised and educated, graduating from Sacred Heart High School. Mr. Walsh was self-employed as a carpet mechanic with Expert Carpet Service in Yonkers for forty years until his retirement. He was a member of the 140 Club and a longtime member of the Rambler’s A.C. On October 5, 1963, he married his loving wife, Jacquin M. Otis in St. Joseph’s Church. Mrs. Walsh died April 20, 2001. He is survived by two sons, Peter Walsh and his wife Denise of Middletown and Michael Walsh and his wife Dana, of Yorktown Heights, one daughter, Donna Walsh Delgado of Naples, Florida, one brother, Joseph Walsh of Middletown and one sister, Margaret O’Buck of Pine Plains, N.Y. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Jacquin and Christopher Chiriguayo and Lindsay and Kelsey Walsh. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday 4-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Saturday February 2nd at 9:30am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
