Peggy Testerman Bledsoe, age 69 of Todd, NC passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born August 14, 1949 in Ashe County to the late Fred and Lucy Testerman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sara Lee Bledsoe. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and she will be truly missed. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Henderson Bledsoe of the home; two daughters, Sheila Holman and husband David of West Jefferson, Sandra Kelly of the home; one son, James Scott Bledsoe and wife Trish Bledsoe of the home; nine grandchildren, Dustin Holman and wife Laniece, Zack Holman and wife Nicole, Jacob Holman and wife Bridgette, Christopher Bledsoe, Kaylin Bledsoe, Jazzie Bledsoe, Lanie Bledsoe, Victor Bledsoe-Bauguss, Trevor Bledsoe-Bauguss; three great-grandchildren, Alexa Holman, Emmaline Holman, Penelope Holman; three sisters, Sue Ritchie and husband J.D., Ruby ton and husband Dave, Joyce Newell; five brothers, Mike Testerman and wife Karen, Freddy Testerman and wife Rennie, John Testerman, Richard Testerman and wife Jan, James Testerman and wife Angie. The family will hold a Celebration of Life service at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Midway Baptist Church, 1670 Mount Jefferson Road, West Jefferson, NC 28694, with Reverend J.D. Walton and Pastor Steve Leashomb officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grandview Memorial Funeral Home, 789 Grandview Drive, Sparta, NC 28675 to help assist the family with funeral expenses.
