Paula’s Obituary Ms. Paula Humphrey, age 54, of La Grange Mo, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019. Paula Humphrey was born June 11, 1964 in Quincy IL daughter of Everett Humphrey and Annabell Humphrey. Paula worked at the Mark Twain Casino in La Grange for 18 years. She had a smile and laugh that was contagious, and a giving heart. In her free time, she enjoyed time with her grandchildren, family and friends and loved to sing and dance. Her survivors include a son and two daughters, Jerrill Humphrey of La Grange, Whitney Humphrey of La Grange and Danyelle Humphrey of La Grange; her father, Everett Humphrey of the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy; six brothers and two sisters, Leland (Dea) Humphrey of Quincy, Everett Humphrey of Quincy, Wayne (Wanda) Humphrey of La Grange, Julia (Bill) Davis of La Grange, Pernell Humphrey of Peoria, Richie (Amy) Humphrey of Quincy, Tranell (Natasha) Humphrey of Quincy and Raquel Humphrey of Jacksonville; 6 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Annabell, two brothers, Pernell Richard and Lamont, two nieces, Kandace Tasco and LeShaunda Rees. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Green Chapel Baptist Church in La Grange with Rev. John H. Mims and Pastor Dane Humphrey officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in La Grange. Visitation will be at the Davis Funeral Home in La Grange on Friday February 1, 2019 from 4p.m -7p.m. Repass will follow services on Saturday at the Community Youth Center in La Grange. Family suggests memorials be made to Julia Davis for the care of her daughters.
