Patricia A Ravenelle 2019

Patricia A. (Zabawa) Ravenelle, 77, a Smithfield resident since 1962, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Hope Hospice in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Maurice L. Ravenelle. Born in Ludlow, MA, she was a daughter of the late Louis M. and Catherine S. (Dziura) Zabawa. Mrs. Ravenelle was a 3rd party billing specialist for five years for the former Mental Health Services. She was a master knitter who taught knitting classes and also knitted for the Borocco Yarn Company. She was a communicant of St. Philip Church, Greenville, a member of the St. Philip’s Church Choir, St. Philip’s Church Ladies Guild and the Cold Hand Warm Heart Knitting Guild of St. Philip’s Church. She was also a member of the Smithfield Senior Center. In addition to her husband Maurice, she was the mother of Laurie A. Warren (Scott) of Tolland, CT, Robert B. Ravenelle, Esq. (Elizabeth) of Portland, ME and Todd A. Ravenelle (Kimberly) of Greenville. She was the sister of Helen Hayeck of Worcester, MA and the late Edward Zabawa. She was the loving grandmother of Rebekah Ostby (Caleb), Jared Warren, Anna Warren, Micah Warren, Lydia Warren, Jeremy Ravenelle, Brad Ravenelle, Allison Ravenelle, Jordan Ravenelle and Audra Ravenelle. She was the great-grandmother of Andrew Ostby. Visitation and Funeral will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 9-10AM in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave., Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in St. Philip’s Church, Greenville. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Vincent dePaul Food Bank at St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Ave., Greenville, RI 02828 will be appreciated.
