Oleto Frances McQueen Towe, 87, of Mesa, Arizona passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 with family members at her side. In December, Oleto was diagnosed with Myelomonocytic Acute Leukemia. She was born December 25, 1931 in Oklahoma City, OK to Claude and Letha McQueen. Oleto married her high school sweetheart, Russell Lee Towe, in 1950. Oleto is survived by her husband, Russell, her four children, Tom (Patty) Towe, Claudia Hancock, Rusty (Piper) Towe and John (Teresa) Towe; eighteen grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Vegh and many nieces and nephews. Her Legacy will be carried on through her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Letha; brothers, Jerry and Ralph and niece, Sherry. Oleto was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend to many. She will be missed by all who loved her.
