Obituary for Nowelo Kekipi Cummings Nowelo Kekipi Cummings, 74, a homemaker, of Ka`a`awa, Oahu, passed away at Castle Medical Center on March 7, 2016. She was born on Moloka`i on December 2, 1941. She is survived by her husband Edward Pono Cummings; her daughters Nowelo “Noey” Sommercorn and Nanilei E. Cummings; and her brothers Thomas Kalama Kekipi and Jonathan Kekoa Kekipi.
