Michael S Willie Slezak 2019

Michael S. “Willie” Slezak, 61, of West Warwick passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was born in Warwick on March 31, 1957, a son of Irene J. (Boudreau) Slezak of West Warwick and the late Stanley L. Slezak. Michael was a general contractor in the construction industry for many years. He was a member of the Crompton Veterans Association in West Warwick and also enjoyed golfing and fishing. Besides his mother, he leaves his sister, Debra Humphrys and her husband, Mark of Cranston; a niece, Cailin Fiore and her husband, Michael of Worcester, Massachusetts; a nephew, Dilan Humphrys of Cranston; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. His funeral will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 9 am from the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Avenue, West Warwick. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in West Warwick. Visiting hours are Thursday morning 8-9 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Avenue, West Warwick, R.I. 02893.
