Michael J. Hartnagel, age 47, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019. He was the beloved son of Michael and Mary Jo Hartnagel. Mike was predeceased by his father. He was a graduate of Alexis I. DuPont High School and attended Syracuse University. Mike was self-employed and an avid gardener. Following college, football and spending time with his three nieces always lifted his spirits. Mike is survived by his mother; his brother, Andrew (Sage); his two sisters, Bridget Bradham (Page) and Kathleen Nasuti (Tony); along with his nieces and his extended family of aunts and uncles. Mike’s gentle smile and warm heart will be missed by all. Family and friends may visit from 2 to 3 PM on Saturday, January 26 at Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808. A Celebration of Mike’s Life will begin at 3 PM. Mike’s family requests no flowers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Habitat for Humanity, 322 W.
