Carr, 59, formerly of Stratford, passed away on January 10. He was the beloved son of June Boyne of Mt. Ephraim and the late George Carr of Parkville, MD. After graduating Haddon Heights High School in 1977, Michael started his lifelong career in the heating and cooling industry as a successful entrepreneur. He was a classic car enthusiast and collector of many rare and vintage Pontiacs. Those who knew him will recall his dry, quick wit, intelligence, unique personality, and generous heart. He is survived by his son Jacob and wife Brittany of Barrington who are expecting Michael’s first granddaughter in February, and his daughter Allison of Stratford. He is also survived by his five siblings, Edward Carr (Susan) of Haddon Heights, Holly Borasi (James) of Marmora, Albert Boyne of Mt. Ephraim, Frank Boyne of Wildwood, FL, and Audra Fletcher (Christopher) of Haddon Township. Michael is also survived by his former spouse, Laurie Carr, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 18th at 6:30 pm at Immanuel Baptist Church, 6 S. Poplar, Maple Shade, NJ 08052. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Print Obituary
