Mary Juanita True Hegwood Mary Juanita True Hegwood, 75, died Monday, January 7, 2019 in Tampa, FL. Born May 25, 1943 in Water Valley, MS. Mary was the daughter of the late Meshach Turner True, Jr. and Dorothy Ann Littleton True. She was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church of Wauchula, FL. A favorite verse: “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” She was active in the community serving the elderly, homeless, children, and anyone in need. Mary also served the community as an optometrist assistant in Dr. Clifton N. Timmerman’s office. Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Joseph M. Hegwood, Sr. and her son, Joseph M. (Marty) Hegwood, Jr. Mary is survived by her son, Timothy L. Hegwood and his wife, Linda I. Hegwood, of Orlando. The family will receive friends, for a Memorial Service, on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 3:00pm at Robarts Family Funeral Home in Wauchula, FL. In lieu of flowers, Mary requested that donations be made in her name to Hardee Help Center, 713 East Bay Street, Wauchula, FL 33873 or Caring People Recovery Center, 5207 Mason Dixon Avenue, Bowling Green, FL 33834 or Hannahs’s Hope Chest, 226 W.
