Mrs. Woods was a native of Pike County, AL, a resident of Uriah, AL for the past 73 years and a member of the Semirah Springs Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucious and Ancie Bell Register Thomas, a grandson, Jason Sturdivant, 4 brothers and a sister. Survivors include: her husband, Raymond Woods of Uriah, AL; three sons, David Woods and wife, Mary of Uriah, AL, Mike Woods of McCullough, AL and Jimmy Woods and wife, Jane of Poarch, AL; 8 grandchildren, Kyna McDonald and husband, Michael, Joey Sturdivant and wife, Chrissy, Michael Woods and wife, Crystal, Nicole Lambert, Denise Fullerton and husband, Phillip, Jessica Williams and husband, Jacob, Ryan Woods and wife, Jessica and Allison Woods; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ellen Turman and husband, Eddie of Houchton, GA; and a brother, Jerry Thomas and wife, Sue of Frisco City, AL. Funeral services will be Friday, January 25, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at Semirah Springs Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Clifton Buchanan officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 – 12:00 Noon at the church. Burial will follow at Semirah Springs Cemetery. Please share your condolences online by signing Mrs. Woods guestbook.
