Martha’s Obituary Martha Eagle Lewis of Camden, AR went to be with her Lord on January 28, 2019 at the University Village Assisted Living and Memory Care in Round Rock, TX. She was born in Camden, AR and was 101 years old. Mrs. Lewis was a member of the Word Aflame United Pentecostal Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for many years and was active in the Ladies Auxiliary. Church was the center of her life and visitation to nursing homes was a mission that she pursued well into her 90’s. She enjoyed interacting with people and particularly enjoyed working at J. C. Penny for 20 years. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ellis F. Lewis, her mother and father, Mary (Hufstedler) and Cawthon Eagle, two sisters, Frances Cox and Thelma Bradshaw. Survivors include three daughters, Mary Terry of Springdale, AR, Brenda Warnock and husband Jerry of Round Rock, TX, and Janet Bennett and husband Jim of Austin, TX, seven grandchildren, Gregg Jeter and wife Lisa of Azle, TX, Jeff Jeter of Springdale, AR, Cindy Johnson of Temple, TX, Brad Warnock and wife Amy of Cedar Park, TX, Heather Hodges and husband Vince of Tupelo, MS, Tracey Carleton and husband Adrian of Austin, TX, and Brian Bennett of Brooklyn, NY, and 14 great grandchildren, four nephews and five nieces. Visitation for Mrs. Lewis will be held at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, AR, Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm followed by the memorial service at 2:00 also at the funeral home. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden. Rev. Glenn Clark of Farmington, MO will officiate the service assisted by Rev. Michael Shelton, pastor of the Word Aflame Church and Rev.
