OBITUARY Marilyn Rose O’Mara February 14, 1941 – January 24, 2019 Marilyn Rose O’Mara, age 77, of Phoenix, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019. She was born on February 14, 1941 to the late Eugene Joseph and Anna Zilda (Steudeman) Colabianchi in Clayton, MO. Marilyn attended Bishop DuBorg High School graduating class of 1959. On April 4, 1964 she married Pat O’Mara in Brentwood, MO. Marilyn did many jobs in her life, but she was most proud of raising four wonderful daughters. She was a member of WoodmenLife Chapter #117 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary Post #2957. Marilyn enjoyed bingo, bunco, and traveled on 23 cruises with her husband. She is survived by her loving spouse of 54 years, Pat; four daughters, Jeni (Jimmy) Mowry, Sheri (Rob) Bandelier, Michelle (Anthony) Jordan, and Marilyn (Shane) Herzog; two sisters, Loretta Koenigsfeld, Virginia Cummings; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bob Colabianchi. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 39808 N. Gavilan Peak Pkwy, Anthem, AZ 85086. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marilyn’s honor may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society of Arizona at www.stvincentdepaul.net/give/donate.
