Mrs. Marilyn A. Blaine, 72, of Lehighton, passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at St. St. Luke’s Hospital-Lehighton. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Blaine. Born in Newark, New Jersey, June 13, 1946, she was the daughter of the late William & Marie (Ziegler) Morris. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a bookkeeper for Multi-Care, in Clark, New Jersey. She was a graduate of The American Banking Institute, Class of 1966. Marilyn was a member of SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Lehighton. She was a member of Argonne American Legion Post 6 Ladies Auxiliary, Elizabeth, New Jersey and volunteered her time as the PTA/PTO President at the Rahway Public School. She also served as a Brownie & Girl Scout assistant leader. Surviving is a daughter, Robin G. wife of Sean Balint of Lehighton, a granddaughter, Sienna Rose Balint,& her grand dog dachshund-“Rugby”. Prayers will be held on Saturday, January 12th at 9:30 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at SS. Peter & Paul RC Church, 242 N. 3rd St., Lehighton with the Reverend William N. Seifert & Deacon Joseph Wilhelm officiating. Call 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment in Albert Cemetery, Mountaintop, Pa. Memorial Contributions in her name may be made to SS Peter & Paul Memorial Fund at 18235. Online condolences can be offered at www.ovsakfh.com
