Marie’s Obituary Marie Bertha Manka Teixeira, age 97, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018, at NHC of Clinton. Born in Ft. Madison, Iowa, on August 8, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Louis Manka and the late Ida Menke Manka. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her children,John Teixeira (Allison), Peter Teixeira (Janet),James Teixeira (Janice), Thomas Teixeira (Karen), Donna Radtke, and Linda Matthias (Richard); a daughter-in-law, Stephanie Teixeira (Sister Clare); grandchildren, Rose Johnson (William), Roxanne Short(Michael), Rachelle Teixeira, Derek Gray, Matthew Teixeira, Andrew Teixeira, Rachel Whitfield (Tyler), Ryan Radtke, Christopher Messer, Rebecca Messer, Cecilia Teixeira, Karina Teixeira, Antonio Teixeira, and Alyssa Teixeira; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Teixeira; a son, Richard Teixeira; and nine siblings. A graveside service will be held on Friday January 11,2019 at 10 A.M on the grounds of Forest Hills Memorial Park Palm City.
