Maria da Natividade Teixeira Machado Cabral, 79, of No. Sharon St., East Providence, passed away peacefully, Wednesday morning, Jan. 30, 2019 at RI Hospital. She was the wife of Joao M. Cabral. Born May 7, 1939, in Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Carlos Machado and Isaura Teixeira. Natividade had been a stay at home mom who spent her time designing and creating beautiful clothing for her family and friends. She was an amazing seamstress and spent countless hours creating beautiful crocheted tablecloths and doilies. In addition to her husband of 54 years she leaves her loving sons, Antonio C.M. Cabral and his wife Kathy of Seekonk, and Filipe M. Cabral of East Providence; 2 grandchildren, Marissa and Jared; and her sisters, Maria de Fatima Resendes, Maria da Conceicao DeLima, Maria de Lurdes Moreira, Maria Filomena Braga and the late Maria Auxiliadora Andrade. She also leaves 4 nieces, 1 nephew and 6 great nieces and nephews. She the mother of the late Henry Machado Cabral. Her funeral will begin Saturday, Feb. 2, at 9am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 No. Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, 4pm until 7pm.
