Marcia Tillis was Born on December 24,1957 to Lillian Lee Tillis and Cecil Tillis, in the town of Taylor ,Texas. Marcia Tillis, better known as Marha, began her loving relationship with her God at a young age. At the age of 18 she began working at Austin State School and was there for 10 years, she then went to work for Kenmore residential services beginning her career working with the disabled. Marha worked 20+ years with individuals who were disabled. Marha was an advocate for children and their mothers . Maha was a mother, a big sister, awesome Auntie, and a grandmother to not only her grandkids but to other children that she loved as if they were her own. Marha was a wonderful friend to many and she never met a stranger. Her smile and laugh were contagious. She was always a person you could talk to without judgement and know that she was giving you her best! Her favorite saying was “Baby let me make you understand something” with her eyes bucked and her finger pointing at you.
