Lucile “Polly”‘s Obituary Lucile D. “Polly” (Dyer) Beam, 92, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in Salem, Arkansas. She was born to the late Louie H. Dyer and Sarah E. (Dowdy) Dyer on January 27, 1926 in Colorado City, Texas. Polly was united in marriage to Frank A. Beam on April 3, 1943 in Sweetwater, Texas and was married 75 blessed years. Polly spent her working years as an insurance clerk and was a member of the Broadway Baptist Church in Sweetwater, Texas. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend. She leaves to mourn her passing; husband, Frank Beam, Sr. of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; daughter in law, Sue Beam of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; granddaughter, Sherri Weatherford and husband Larry of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; great grandson, Zack Logan and wife Kali of Goldsboro, North Carolina; three great great grandchildren, Madison Callendar, Tristan Logan and Owen Logan; two sister in laws, Geneva Dyer of Grapevine, Texas and Rena Beam of Bronte, Texas; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her son (Frank A. Beam, Jr.), great grandson (Damon Callendar), parents, three brothers and two sisters. Memorial services will at a later date in Sweetwater, Texas. Memorials may be made to Legacy Hospice in Salem, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas. Read More
