Louis’ Obituary Louis Raymond Lienhart passed away on January 9, 2019 at Brightside Assisted Living in Jackson. He was born on April 15, 1923 in Jackson, Michigan to Frederick and Lillian (Culhane) Lienhart. Louis is survived by his wife, Romona (Nichols) Lienhart; children, Christopher (Suzanne) Lienhart, Stephen Lienhart and Paul (Debbie) Lienhart; daughter-in-law, Katy; step-children, Beth (Mike) Chappel, David (Karlene) Folts, Joseph (Sherry) Folts, Tina (Curt) Baker and Bill (Janet) Folts. He was preceded in passing by his parents; his first wife, Dorothy Ann (Sim); one son, James Lienhart; and seven siblings, Charles (Cecile), Vincent (Mary), Benjamin (Anna), Arthur, Harold (Anna), Genevieve (Carl), Howard (Eileen). Louis was a WWII Veteran serving with the 2nd and 20th Air Force in Guam. Louis and four of his brothers served in the military at the same time during WWII. He retired from Kelsey-Hayes after working there for 30 years. Louis was also a Hospice volunteer and enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, dancing and playing golf with his family. At his request cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass to honor his life will be held at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Monday, January 14, 2019 beginning at 10:00 A.M. with Father Richard Eberle officiating.
