Obituary of Lorraine Biear Lorraine Biear- Writer, Editor Rockaway Township- Lorraine Girsch Biear died January 27, 2019 at the age of 84, after being born and raised in Yonkers, N.Y., (Westchester city), she married Joseph Biear on August 6, 1961, at St. Casimir’s Church in Yonkers. After living briefly in Bricktown, NJ and Bronxville and New Rochelle, NY they moved to Rockaway Twp. in 1968. Her husband predeceased her in 1989. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Yonkers and with honors from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. After graduation, she worked for four years as an associate editor of T.V. Radio, Mirror Magazine (McFadden Publications) in New York City. After moving to Morris County, she worked at various times as a freelance writer and as a copy stylist for two medical advertising agencies. In 1988, Lorraine won the Pick 6 Lotto, winning just under a million dollars. Lorraine was a member of St. Clement’s Church in Rockaway Twp. and sang in the choir for forty-five years. She was a member of St. Clement’s Senior Citizens Club and the Rockaway Twp. Senior Citizens Social Club. She is survived by her four children; Brett of Hopatcong, Cynthia Grega (Gary) of Stanhope; Stephanie of Weehawken; and Scott of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by three beloved grandchildren; Joseph, Chelsea and John Grega of Stanhope, and many nieces and nephews. Lorraine love to travel and she also spent many happy hours writing a novel, reading and doing embroidery. Visitation 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 on Friday, February 1, 2019 at St. Clement Pope and Martyr R.C. Church, Rockaway. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover
