Lois Jean Simon Conley November 20 1935 January 9 2019 (age 83)

Lois Jean Conley, 83, of Washington, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in the Washington Hospital with her family by her side. She was born November 20, 1935, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Joseph and Grace Widmaier Simon. Mrs. Conley was a 1954 graduate of Shaler High School. Lois had worked for Luncheon is Served, promoting specific food brands while fundraising for community organization through luncheons and seminars. Mrs. Conley was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, Houston. She spent several years in the bowling league at Canon Bowl in Canonsburg, was a former Girl Scout Leader and enjoyed ceramics, sewing, crocheting, yard sales and garage sales. On July 2, 1955, she married Donald Conley who passed away on September 18, 1998. Surviving are: two daughters, Debra Hampe (Ron) of McDonald and Darlene Crumrine (Stephen) of Washington; and a granddaughter Alicia Hampe of Washington. Friends will be received from 2:00 PM to 4:00 pm, the time of service on Sunday, January 13, 2019 in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue Houston, PA 15342, with Rev. Mary Kay Glunt officiating. Private interment will take place in Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
