Linda Beth Calvo 2019

Linda Beth Calvo, age 67, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away at Integrity Healthcare in Belleville, IL. Linda was born on November 27, 1951 in Springfield, IL, a daughter of the late Judge Horace L. Calvo and Josephine Erika (Beth) Calvo. Linda was a faithful member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Glen Carbon, IL. She graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, IL with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree. She worked as a computer programmer. Linda loved life, she loved to laugh, but most of all she loved her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a brother, David William “Billy” Calvo; and by her brother-in-law, Marshall Cohen. She is survived by her loving siblings, Larry (Sharon) Calvo of Edwardsville, IL and Mary Calvo Cohen of Portland, OR; proud aunt to Lena Cohen, David Cohen, Michael Calvo, Aaron Calvo and Abra (Christopher) Raitt; six great-nieces and great-nephews; extended family and friends. Private family Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Glen Carbon, IL, with Father Patrick Gibbons officiating. Linda was laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Edwardsville, IL. Memorial donations may be given to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
