OBITUARY Librado Salinas Garcia May 3, 1930 – December 25, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Librado Salinas Garcia, 88, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 25, 2018 at Senior Care of Edinburg. He is preceded in death by his parents Emilio and Sara Garcia; and by brothers Emilio Garcia Jr. and Eduardo P. Garcia and one nephew, Edward Garcia Jr. Librado is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Josephine Saenz Garcia; his son Dr. Hiram L. Garcia wife Lisa, his two grandchildren Hiram Lee Garcia Jr. and Brianna Michelle Garcia; his two nieces Nilda Castillo husband Jaime and Sylvia Fernandez and nephew Peter Garcia and Osvaldo Garcia wife Cindy. Librado was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He was very proud of his son and his grandchildren. He was a man of great faith in our Lord and Savior, and member of Iglesia Bautista Getsemani. He served in the Air Force and was a veteran of Korean War. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetry in Mission.
