Lewis Sheldon Silberman April 7 1932 January 27 2019

Lewis Sheldon Silberman, 86, born in Brooklyn, New York in 1934. Lewis graduated from Midwood High School and New York University. At New York University, Lewis met his future wife, Eileen who this past Thursday celebrated 65 years of marriage. They had a long and loving marriage. Lewis moved to Florida in the early 50’s to start a new business, East Coast Supply Corporation. He and his brother, Morton Silberman, (deceased) worked hard and expanded their business throughout the State of Florida. Lewis was always a risk taker and achieved great success because of it. Lewis was always ready for a good time and had a terrific sense of humor and loved to make us all have a good laugh. He was a stalwart contributor to the Jewish community and the Sate of Israel. Lewis was a devoted family man. He was a dedicated father to his children, Randi and Richard and a loving grandfather to his grandson, Evan. His nieces and nephews loved him very much and enjoyed his company immensely. The family would like to thank his caregivers Lester Brown, Roy Lennox and Andrew Hinds for their wonderful care. Private services for the family, only. Shiva will be observed Tuesday and Wednesday, at the home of Eileen Silberman from 4:00 – 9:00PM.
