ALEXANDRIA – Funeral service for Mr. Leroy “PeeWee” Prichard, 89, will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Danny Shears will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 11-1 prior to the service. Private burial will immediately follow the service. Mr. Prichard passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. Mr. Prichard is survived by his two sons and their wives, Sam (Debra) Prichard and Jeff (Pam) Prichard; two grandsons and their wives, Eric (Megan) Prichard and Jeffrey (Kyla) Prichard; one granddaughter, Emily Prichard; four great-grandchildren, Abby, Fisher, Hudson and Emmie Beth Prichard; one step-son and his wife, Eddie (Lynn) Boone; and two step-grandchildren, Shane and Michael Boone. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Prichard, Eric Prichard, Danny Shears, Jarred Acker, Jeff Burney, and Steve Burney. Mr. Prichard retired from the Anniston Army Depot after 32 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, and playing golf. The family would like to extend a special thanks to his caregiver, April Fulmer, for her continued support and care over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org or to a charity of your choice. Mr. Prichard was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Louise Prichard; and his second wife, Annie Prichard.
