Minister Leroy Garrison, Sr. transitioned peacefully from this life the early morning of January 21, 2019. Minister Leroy Garrison was born February 15, 1948 in New Orleans, LA to John Smith, Sr. and Martha Garrison of Harvey, Louisiana. He was known as a faithful minister and devoted husband and father. Minister Leroy Garrison, Sr. is survived by his wife, Beatrice Burno Garrison and two sons; Leroy garrison, Jr. (Nina) and Lance Michael Garrison. Leroy is survived by siblings: Warren Smith, Sr. (Christine), Marie London, Martha Johnson and Artie Herrera (Pedro), many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Westwego COGIC are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Westwego COGIC, 130 Louisiana Ave., Westwego, LA 70094 on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:20 AM.
