Leonard Rangel, 90, passed away on Thurs., Jan. 24. He was a wonderful provider, husband, and father. He was an avid fisherman and worked hard to take care of his family. Leonard adored and was very proud of his family. He left a very large footprint in this world with a large family. He had 5 children, 23 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren , and 7 great great children. Leonard is preceded in death by both of his parents Carmen and Blanche Rangel, son Larry Owen Rangel, daughter Kathleen Ross and 3 sisters. He is survived by his wife Margie Rangel of 68 years of marriage, 2 sons Leonard Michael Rangel and Jason (Angela) Rangel, 1 daughter Neva (Richard) Ditto, 23 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, and 1 sister Rosetta Perry. A visitation will be held Tues. Jan 29, between 1-2PM with a funeral service starting at 2:00PM, at New Story Church 5500 Woodend Rd Kansas City, Kansas 66106 and burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
