Obituary for Lemmie Dalton Lemmie Dalton, age 84 of Thorn Hill, TN, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 6, 2019 at his home. He professed faith in Christ at an early age and he was an ordained deacon and active member of Cedar Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Thorn Hill, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Dollie Dalton; sister, Dora Dalton; brother, Rector Dalton; and granddaughter, Christie Dalton. Lemmie is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eva Dalton of Thorn Hill, TN; sons, Eugene (Janet) Dalton of Bean Station, TN, Rev. Leonard (Patricia) Dalton of Bean Station, TN, and Steve (Rhonda) Dalton of Thorn Hill, TN; grandsons, Kevin Dalton and Seth Dalton; great-granddaughter, Raven Dalton; and sister, Lillie (Donnie) Southerland of Bean Station, TN. Special thanks to Hancock Home Health and SunCrest Hospice. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Cedar Springs Missionary Baptist Church, Thorn Hill, TN with Rev. Darrell Hensley, Rev. J.C. Bull, Brother Elmer Kincaid, Jr., and Rev. Tim Bowlin officiating. Singers will be Bill and Juanita Seals with Brother Elmer Kincaid, Jr. and The Reed Family. Interment will follow in the Dalton Family Cemetery, Thorn Hill. The family will receive friends, 2:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Cedar Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
