Obituary for Laura Brown Print Laura Bell Brown 8-28-28 to 1-27-2019 On Jan. 27, 2019 Laura Bell Brown, , beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother surrounded by her loved ones here, passed to join her loved ones in heaven. Born in Olivet, Kansas in 8-28-28 she grew up doing everything from playing tennis to herding cattle. She married her husband (0f 72 years) and love of her life J.E. Brown, on Nov 2, 1946. She was a dedicated wife and mother of 3. She was creative and talented. She excelled in taking the ordinary and making it extraordinary in everything she did. She had a quick sense of humor and a big heart. She wrote all types of poetry, painted, and did beautiful embroidery, which she donated to fund raising for breast cancer. She was quick to help others and was a long time contributor to several charities. She is survived by her husband J.E .Brown, Casper, WY., Daughter, Anita Johnson (Maynard), Byron, Wy. Son, Larry Brown (Cheryl), Son-in-law Calvin Dewitt, Paul’s Valley, OK. Grandkids: Travis Lawhorn (Becky), Mike Brown (Erica), Jennifer Harshman (Shaun), Denny Volk, Jerry Volk (Roberta), Todd DeWitt (Shannon) all of Casper, WY. And Amanda Rich, Paul’s Valley, OK. She has great grandchildren in Casper, WY. and Paul’s Valley OK. , and one great great grandson in OK. She was preceded in death by her daughter Linda Dewitt, grandson Terry Lawhorn, and granddaughter’s Natalie Brown Miller and Tami Dewitt.
