Obituary of Kevin Worland Kevin D. Worland, age 64, of Joliet, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Born December 6, 1954 in Joliet, he was the son of the late Joseph D. and Helen Louise (nee Kachelhoffer) Worland, and was a graduate of the former Lockport West High School. Kevin worked as an Operator for the former Corn Products, now Ingredion, Inc. A loving husband and best friend to his wife of 35 years, Kevin will be remembered for his creativity and artistic skills, especially wood carving and drawing, and his love for animals. He will be missed by his many Facebook friends he made over the past several years. Surviving are his beloved wife, Peggy (nee Miller) Worland of Joliet; his brothers and sisters, Karen (Vincent) Masterson of Shorewood, Jean (Timothy) Sullivan of Lockport, Brad (Dawn) Worland of Nashville, TN, Patrick (Laurie) Worland of Hammond, IN, Russell (Phyllis) Worland of Joliet, and Thomas Worland of Channahon; his wife’s parents, William and Vera Miller of Joliet; his wife’s siblings, Nancy (Ken) Wruk of Joliet, Bill (Peg) Miller of Westfield, IN, Kathy (Tony) Medved of Joliet, Patty (Robert) Drysch of Shorewood, and Ann (Chris) Patti of Mt. Prospect; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Kevin D. Worland will be held Monday, February 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Joliet. There will be no visitation.
