Kathy Jo Cooper Fleming March 21, 1952 – January 29, 2019 Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Kathy Jo Fleming Gaffney, SC – Kathy Jo Cooper Fleming, 66, of 356 Covered Bridge Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born in Waynesville, NC, she was the daughter of the late William (Bud) Cooper and Helen Rathbone Cooper. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She loved her family, her Lord and Church, enjoyed taking care of others, and loved to sew. Surviving are a son, Chris Sutton of Gaffney; two daughters, Lisa Sutton Harris and husband, Wayne, and Donna Sutton Kaylin and husband, Kevin, both of Gaffney; four sisters, Barbara Barton of Rosman, NC, Linda Gallman and husband, Ronnie, Lucille Spencer and husband, Randy, and Paulette Allison, all of Gaffney; three grandchildren, Chelsea Harris, Haila Kaylin and Connor Sutton; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Lecroy and three brothers-in-law, Mickey Allison, Earl Barton and Raymond Lecroy. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Osment officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
