Obituary for June Marie Steel (Haynie) June Marie Steel, 79, of White Stone, Virginia passed away on January 25, 2019. She was President of Little Bay Fish Company, a member of White Stone United Methodist Church and a retired U. S. Postal employee. June was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an excellent cook of which she truly enjoyed and loved to do gardening and take care of her flowers. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Steel; daughter, Amy Langford of Tappahannock; two sons, Steven W. Hinson of White Stone and Clinton Wade Steel of Reedville; seven grandchildren ; three great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Hall of Edwardsville, Diane Jett of Richmond and Lisa Lewis of Greenfield; brother, Harry Haynie of Topping; and two step daughters, Kathy Steel of Maryland and Kim Ridgell of Maryland. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny “Red” Hinson. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a. m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at White Stone United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 4600 Cox Road, Suite 130, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
