Julia’s Obituary Julia M. Thyen (nee Sandilla), age 102, child of Sam and Elizabeth Sandilla, passed away January 25, 2019. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norbert “Dick”; brothers, Angelo, Jim, Anthony and Pete Sandilla; sisters, Theresa, Rose, Tony and Dorothy; great-grandaughter, Katie. Survived by her daughter, Mary Jean and son, David (Mary Ellen); grandchildren, Rick (Stacy), Rob, Sue (Bob) Behnke; great grandchildren, Sam and Alex Thyen, Lauren, Jack, David and Jeff Behnke along with many beloved nieces and nephews. Sugar was a past resident of the Linden House in Hobart, Indiana. She enjoyed playing bingo and bunko. She was a long time member of St. Bridget Catholic Church and member of St. Anne’s Confraternity. Private Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Paul Catholic Church with Rev.
