Obituary for Judy Ostrander Judy Ostrander, age 74, of Bad Axe, passed away on January 6, 2019 at Courtney Manor Nursing Facility in Bad Axe. Judy was born in Bad Axe on July 17, 1944, daughter of the late Christian and Evelyn (Apley) Becking. She married Elmer Ostrander on January 12, 1963 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bad Axe. Judy enjoyed quilting, reading and was active in her church. Judy is survived by her husband Elmer Ostrander of Bad Axe. One son – Scott (Lisa) Ostrander of Bad Axe. One daughter – Susan (Jeff) Pawlak of Bad Axe. Two bothers – Ernest (Peg) Becking of San Antonio, Texas and Walter (Joan)) Moeller of Bay City. One sister – Christine (Jerry) Tomczak of Wyoming, MI. Seven grandchildren – Jennifer (Andrew) Brown, Scott (Natalie) Ostrander Jr., Jason Ostrander, Jesse (Dakota) Ostrander, Jacob (Courtney) Middaugh, Ashley Pawlak and Michael Pawlak. Six great-grandchildren – Brian Brown, Christopher Brown, Kennedy Ostrander, Elliot Ostrander, Jeremy Middaugh and Carmen Middaugh. Several nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by two brothers – Harold and Wilbur Becking. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, at 11 am. at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Bad Axe.
