Judith Ann Wood 2019

Judith Ann Wood, 76, of Madison, Illinois passed away at 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, January3, 2019 at Rosewood Care Center in Edwardsville. She was born July 19, 1942 in Granite City, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Edna (Cockran) Wood. She had worked in housekeeping at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Granite City with nine years of service. She was a faithful member of Word of Life Church in Granite City. She was a talented woodworker and made many Christmas decorations displayed throughout Granite City. She is survived and will dearly be missed by her lifelong companion, Sandra Goodman of Madison; her sister, Shirley Rozonca of San Lorinzo, California; many niece; nephews; cousins, beloved co-workers and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Gene, Norman, Bill and David Wood and a sister, Betty Ebling. In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Henry Crippen officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville. Memorials may be made to Word of Life Church and may be accepted at the funeral home.
