Judy was born at home in Groveton N.H. the daughter of Grace (Mills) Moffett and Percy Treamer on January 11, 1940. Judy is survived by her nephews and nieces; Randall Breault of Mooresville, NC; Kelly Dugrenier and her husband Kevin of Northfield NH; Tracy Symonds and her husband Howard of Salisbury, NC; Jeffrey Breault of Waitsfield, VT.; as well as many cousins, great nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Percy Treamer in 1998; her mother Grace (Mills) Moffett in 2004; and her sister Joanne (Treamer) Young in 2017. Judy shared her birthday with her great-great nephew Chase Reynolds and he came up from N.C. to share their birthday together in 2018. He was turning 1 while she was turning 78 and they enjoyed a nice visit, pizza, cake, and ice cream. She graduated from Groveton High School valedictorian of her class of 1958 with the ambition “to finish college”. She went on to continue her education at the University of New Hampshire on a full scholarship and graduated in 1962 magna cum laude with a Bachelor degree as well as on the Dean’s List of Achievement. She felt strongly about the importance of education. After college, she began working for the Currier Trucking Company in Gorham, N.H. and worked there for 42 years retiring in 2005. In retirement, she was involved with the Groveton High School Alumni Association (GHSAA) and served as the treasurer for several years among volunteering for various other duties and responsibilities. She was a volunteer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program in Berlin and assisted clients with filing their income tax returns on an annual basis. She was deeply loved by her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a loving sister and a wonderful aunt. Her lifetime companion and best friend was her aunt Marilyn Currier. She lived in the house behind the Curriers and spent much of her time with them. Where there was one, there was the other. She spent every Sunday after church and holidays with her sister Joanne’s family and was famous for her pumpkin roll, pistachio cake, homemade spaghetti sauce, and politics. She loved watching sports, both college and professional as well as the Olympics. Basketball and baseball were her favorites. She was a huge fan of the Celtics and the Red Sox. She was very patriotic and took pride in her country, the flag, and the family both past and present that served their country. She voluntarily assisted family, friends, and community greatly throughout her life. Her generosity was immeasurable. She was devout in her Christian Science faith and was a valued member of their church for 55 years. She was the treasurer at the church as well as a reader. At her request, there will be a brief Christian Science graveside committal held Monday, June 17th at 11:00 am at the Northumberland Cemetery.
