The Funeral for Josephine will be on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from the Rossi Funeral Home, 1937 Westfield Ave. Scotch Plains, NJ 07076. Josephine’s family will receive relatives and friends from 9-11am. A Funeral Service will be offered at 11am. The Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Josephine was born and raised in Newark, NJ. She lived in Scotch Plains with her family, and settled to Edison in 1988. Josephine and her husband owned and operated Hershey’s Deli, Scotch Plains, for 42yrs. Josephine also was a Camera Operator at her church of worship for over 30yrs. Josephine belong to and was an active member of the Faith Fellowship Ministries World Outreach Center in Sayerville, NJ. Josephine had a love for the outdoors and outdoor activities. She would share in her fun with family and friends whether it was roller skating or roller blading, ice skating, canoeing or kayaking, biking, or even shooting at the gun range. She was a devoted and avid fan of the NY Giants and the NY Yankees. Josephine is predeceased by her husband Robert in 1991. She is survived by her two sons Robert C. Jr. and Kevin (Sheila); her three daughters Debra Smith, Michelle Rizzo (Marc), and Kathy Amberg; her four grandchildren Jamie Marie (John), Jennifer Lynn (Aaron), Jonathan, and Christopher; and her three great-grandchildren Braelyn, Madison, and Skylar.
