FORT MEADE – Mr. Johnnie N. Mosley, 74, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, FL. Mr. Mosley was born December 17, 1944 in Tampa, FL to his parents, Alvin and Clara Kelly Mosley. He was a retired railroad foreman, working with Seaboard Coastlines, CSX, and Florida Central Railroad, a U.S. Army Reserves veteran, and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Mosley was a member of the Fort Meade High School graduating Class of 1963, and enjoyed in his spare time beyond work, spending time with with family, bowling, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his daughters, Tamie Mosley Coon and husband Henson, Trisha Mosley Burns and husband Dan; son, Anthony Mosley; brother, Bobby Mosley and wife Sandra; sister, Ruth Ann Rogers and husband James; grandchildren, Lewis Coon and wife Jessica, Kelsey Coon Pool and husband Caleb, Jonathon Tomson, Jack Tomson III, Haleigh Tomson, Brandon Mosley, Emily Mosley, Taylor Mosley; great-granddaughter, Amelia Pool; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade, and funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Donations may be made in Mr. Mosley’s memory to Good Shepherd Hospice,105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL 33823, or to a charity of choice.
