John F Golly Sr March 17 1934 January 27 2019 (age 84)

John F. Golly Sr., age 84, of Loudon, Tennessee, formerly of Bristol, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at the Ben Atchley State Veterans Home in Knoxville. John was a U.S. Army Veteran. He loved his family, playing pool, darts, raising his animals and compiling his movie collection. He was known by his grandchildren as Pops and Grampi. John was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Agnes Golly, his wife, Beverly Jane Golly, son, David James Golly and grandson, Keenan Golly. He is survived by his brother Raymond Golly and wife June, son, John F. Golly Jr. and wife Kimberly, daughter, Denise Puryea, 9 grand children and 11 great grandchildren. Interment will be at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920. A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date. The family expresses their appreciation to the staff at Ben Atchley State Veterans Home and Smokey Mountain Hospice for their care and attention during John’s illness.
